Clothing: Long easy-dry pants, shirt, waterproof raincoat, gaiters, gloves or mittens, beanie, sunhat, overtrousers (optional), thermal long/short-sleeved top and leggings. Walking boots or trail shoes.
Casual local dining clothes: Covered shoes and a jacket for evenings.
Personal items: Toiletries, medications, sunscreen, insect repellent, first aid kit, toilet paper + trowel and hand sanitiser.
Safety gear: Emergency blanket, whistle, compass, phone (inc. camera), charger, plug point, headlamp and spare batteries.
Optional: Walking poles.
Snacks: Foods/drinks.
Hydration: Water bottle/bladder (plus hot thermos flask-optional).
Bags: : 1 small day pack (waterproof cover/liner), 1 backpack or suitcase (10kg max), waterproof bag for personal belongings, reusable rubbish bag and laundry bag.
Identification: Cash, bank cards and personal identification (carry safely at all times).
Self-guided walkers: All of the above plus a Personal Locator Beacon recommended.
All multi-day guided tours have been designed for a maximum of 8 guests. Should less than 8 guests book for a particular tour it can still proceed with a minimum of 4 guests, however, the package price will need to be adjusted and increased accordingly. Guests will be notified if this is the case.
The Devonport Day Tour and the Self-Guided tours require a minimum of 2 participants to proceed.
Our tours include 3-4 star accommodation with private rooms in Devonport and Beauty Point. We prioritise comfort and convenience to ensure you have a restful stay.

Guided transport is provided via a Launceston mini-bus for all transfers during the tour. The driver is also your tour guide, ensuring a seamless experience.
Yes, we offer a special women walking tour option for Guided tours, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for women travellers.
The walk is graded as ‘moderate’ on gravel and sandy tracks. It is not suitable for wheel frames and wheelchairs. The total distance covered is 38 kilometres over 4 days, with the longest day being 14 kilometres on Day 2. The walk includes plenty of breaks to rest and enjoy the scenery.
Tasmania’s weather can be unpredictable. We recommend bringing waterproof clothing, layers for warmth, and sun protection. A detailed packing list is provided upon booking.
