I went on a short walk with Sai at Tailrace Park Riverside. It was an interesting experience with Sai talking about the plant life. A very relaxing and enjoyable walk.

I have enjoyed several short walks in preparation for the launch of Australia’s Biggest Bushwalk on 1 May (and ongoing). Sai’s knowledge and competence have caused me to feel confident that I would totally enjoy myself.  This has certainly proved to be the case and my fitness has increased considerably because I am encouraged to exercise regularly knowing that another short walk is just around the corner. I am particularly motivated that these NTW Short Walks support a really good cause. Many thanks to Sai.

I have now enjoyed several walks with Saikim. These walks have increased my confidence and I can now easily cover 10 Km which would have been a challenge a few months ago, my general fitness has, in large part through these regular walks, improved significantly. As usual, Saikim always creates a safe environment catering for a range of abilities. She diligently ensures that all walkers are feeling fit and comfortable throughout the walk and remain hydrated, munch on snacks as required, with comfort stops being pre-planned. I really appreciate that Saikim shares her extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna during the walk, often supplemented with historical information.

Hard to beat walking in the sunshine with the gentle sound of waves and then birdsong as we proceeded through the bush, however it was the social aspect that made this walk special for me. Great to catch up with fellow walkers that I had not seen for a while. A real bonus was to meet new people and to discover that I shared many common interests with one in particular, a fellow musician whom I look forward to jamming with in the near future.

I found my walk with Northern Tasmania Walks to be an enjoyable pace with plenty of time to observe the surroundings and for taking photographs. The lagoon in Narawntapu National Park was an explosion of birdlife and fitted in well with the grazing kangaroos on the surrounding natural grass land. The accommodation selected was comfortable. Socially, it was a pleasant experience to visit local establishments and enjoy the hospitality of the small towns and villages of Northern Tasmania.

This would be an excellent tour for anyone just starting out on walking tours or for seasoned walkers wanting to experience a historically special part of Northern Tasmania, away from the more well known mountains and beaches.

A great small group experience with a National Park and Tamar Valley attractions. A time to enjoy the great outdoors without it being strenuous.

I thoroughly enjoyed the walk! Saw loads of animals and birds in Narawntapu National Park, the beautiful long white beaches we had to ourselves and I was surprised and the wild animals to be had around Devonport. Sai was a lovely knowledgeable guide_ I learned a lot and she made me feel very cared for as I’m an inexperienced walker. A very worthwhile experience.

Northern Tasmanian Walks included accommodation at Wingtons Glamping! What I enjoyed about the stay was the uniqueness of the whole setup, very impressive! There was plenty of inquisitive animals, an owl even flew in to check us out at night around the BBQ. With wood supplied and all the implements you need, just bring your own food. Loved being in the bush right next to the river. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable with everything you might need supplied. All in all it was one very pleasant nights stay, Loved laying in a cosy bed listening to the assorted animals sounds outside. Super impressed.

A lovely walk around the scenic waterfront of Devonport. Only slightly undulating on well formed footpaths making it suitable for everyone to enjoy the magnificent coastline and Don River area. Finishing off at a fine café for a well deserved drink and cakes.

The Narawntapu to Georgetown walk was a lovely combination of nature and history that blended very well. There was plenty of time for all levels of fitness to complete each section with ease. Sai was a very caring tour leader with lots of local knowledge. Highly recommend this tour.

Recently I went for a walk with NTW at Cataract Gorge. Our guide Sai was so organised with clear information on our meeting points and itinerary for the walk. She also suggested everything we should include in our day packs. Sai’s knowledge of native flora made the walk fascinating and I enjoyed being a part of her group. We ended the tour with close encounters of peacocks and wallabies. Overall, a fabulous experience and looking forward to more walks with Sai in the future.

Had the most wonderful time on this walk, good company. We learned the story behind ‘she-oak’, we saw little pademelons and birds. The track was a mixture of gravel, sand and it was an easy, flat trail. I have balance problems but am fit and found this walk perfect. We even saw the steam train as we were walking back  to our cars! We finished off with a lovely lunch at the Maritime Centre. I hear the coffee’s good!

I joined the ‘Tasmania Walking Tours’ group and had a ball. Sai was a great host to us all. She catered for slow paced 10 kilometre walks which is not rigid in that Sai will consider any who may fall back a little. Four day walks on various terrains are also provided with breaks. Today I had fun socially interacting with such people as a fellow nature lover, tech head, musician and audio engineer, who’s background was cardiology, chemistry and computer coding. We made a connection that brought us together for a musical Jam. Thanks heaps for the walk Sai, the views were beautiful and the people were very approachable.
